About Accessibility Watch
Accessibility Watch is an educational web-compliance watchdog. We track the two compliance risks that draw demand letters to ordinary business websites — web accessibility (ADA litigation, WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the European Accessibility Act) and tracking-before-consent (CIPA "wiretapping" suits, VPPA video lawsuits, and EU GDPR / ePrivacy enforcement) — and help site owners understand and fix both.
Who builds this
Accessibility Watch is published by the team behind the wcagcheckr (accessibility) and ForensicConsent (consent & tracking) browser extensions. We're transparent about that on purpose: our free tools genuinely find the issues and give you the fix recipes at no cost, so this is real public value, not a sales funnel in disguise.
How our reports work
Each report is an automated scan of a page exactly as it was publicly served, on a stated date, using the open-source axe-core engine against WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We report only what the page publicly returned — and we seal every report with a tamper-evident, independently verifiable timestamp. We don't editorialize; we report findings and show how to fix them.
Own a site we've reported on?
First — the good news is everything we found is fixable, and the free wcagcheckr extension will find and explain each issue on your own pages. Once you've made changes, request a re-scan and an updated report will show the improvement. If you'd prefer the report removed entirely, you can request that too — we honor removals permanently.
